Machine indicates "No Disc" I have acquired a little Sony player model CMT30 radio and cassette work

I have picked up a little #sony Hi-Fi at a "Boot Sale" radio and cassette work but when CD inserted message reads NO DISC, Is this repairable. Did not cost lot of money - which should have been a hint- Model No CMT-EP30

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Have you tried more than one CD in the player to check it's not a issue with a damaged CD?

If so, it may be best to check for a local repair centre to see if this is possible to fix.

try a lens cleaner disc ...but no disc usually means that the lens is dead
