Sony RCD-W100 CD Recorder

Greetings,

I have this Sony unit and Deck B is starting to give problems: some original CDs "skip" when in Play, other original CDs or Verbatim CDs "don't skip" when in Play.

The CDs are in excellent condition and work properly when played in Deck A.

I disassembled Deck B and checked the mechanism, gears, laser arm but everything seems to turn correctly. There is no dust or elements that could block the mechanism.

I think the optical drive is abandoning me.

I would kindly like to know if the Deck B loader is available.

Had problems with deck A you could do the same buy a unit on eBay spares or repairs just get them to state drive B is fine no problems and use that as a sonar machine, I paid £65 delivery
