How to keep useful a 23 year old audio video receiver (STR-DB840)

Dear forum,

I'm the proud owner of STR-DB840. Over the last few years, I've been using the receiver less and less. I suppose this is due to the lack of more "modern" interfaces such as Bluetooth or USB-C.

I'm seeking suggestions on how to "modernize" the receiver.

Hey,

I don't believe that there are ways to modernize the receiver, like a firestick or something, as the modern features you're looking for have to be built within the specs of the receiver.

What is your opinion on Bluetooth audio receivers that support aptX such as iFi ZEN or Auris Blume Pro?

@GeorgeMoore, well, if they both have the right ports to be connected with, it should work. Just put in mind that it's an adapter and might not function 100%
