Hey Community, When recording videos with my Sony A7R3, the files are named with the extension C0001, and so on. But the issue is that when I format the card, the camera starts nominating the files again from C0001. The problem with this is that when transferring these files into my archive, there is a risk of overwriting the files. So, is there a way to keep going on with the naming even after formatting the card?

For example, this issue is not the same with photo mode, where I can actually customise the file names, and I never have the same extension even after formatting the card.

No, you can’t.

Actually you can’t either distinguish between different cameras clips.

You must download your flash memory each for different folder.
