Hi I would like some advice please,on my dsc hx9v camera when I took movies I could put my sd card in the t.v. and watch the movie, but I have just got an dsc w630 and the still photos will come up but the movies will not show.It is recording the movie as I can get them on my computer.thank you in advance.

What TV do you have?

Could it be due to the video being a different format to your previous camera?

I believe your old camera could record in AVCHD or MP4 and your new one is a higher definition h264 file?

(Still an MP4 but with more advanced compression.) Perhaps the TV can't play that type of file.

I have to confess that I am a golden oldie and don't know much about the sd sticks,do I have to buy a different kind or do something else,thank you.
