DSC-RX100 III 4K

I love using my RX100 but would just like to ask Sony why was no 4k video option included in the new DSC-RX100 III.

It's the deal breaker for me and with another rumored upcoming 4K camera coming out soon from a competitor why was this not included in the M3. Even some phones have 4K now and this is a premium model ?

Just wondered the reason when Sony is plugging 4K so much ?

Hope theres maybe a new Sony compact model with 4K soon. Maybe 50p 4K. As I always normally buy Sony.

In terms of standalone cameras the A7s offers 4K but via an external capture box http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/interchangeable-lens-cameras/ilce-7s which is similar to many of Sony's professional cameras like the FS700 & F5 etc as you need serious bandwitdh and processing power to capture that much detail.
