I have a sony vaio k215z - the space key has a little scratch on it - not overly big or stopping working but annoying none the less. thanks to an overly zealous husband cleaning it. it's a baby of a few months this vaio - is there anyway i can get a replacement key without having to get the whole keyboard. or am i doomed to have an x marks the spot mark? i don't want a whole keyboard replacement cos that is pointless - just want to get one key to be replaced - being the space key.
if anyone can give me link / tell me how to replace and where to get one i live in the uk.

It's not possible to get or change individual keys. The only thing you could do is replace the keyboard. You may be able to polish the scratch off using a plastic polish but this would also be difficult. I would just learn to love the scratch . . . .

Yes - that's the product I know of. It's one of the products frequently used by people with scratched iPods.

If you are going to try it then I would recommend that you try it on a part of the notebook that isn't normally seen. Good luck . . hope it works OK.
