Checked the drivers on my other notebook wich reports it is using ATAPI.SYS and STORPROP.DLL, both of which exist and appear the same on my VAIO. Am now at a loss and the only evidence of my hardware is the report that SanDisk SDP device drivers are not installed, error code 28. Have looked on the Sandisk website but everywhere I look says that it should work without drivers, as it does on my other notebook with apparently the same system files.
