Hi All,

I have a Vaio that won't boot, beeps 3 times - 1 long and 2 short on POST. Nothing on screen or no lights flashing at all. Nothing connected to any USB ports and nothing in CD-ROM drive. Have checked all visible cabling.

I was looking to try and reseat/check the RAM for starters but am having difficulty trying to locate/access it. The HDD/RAM etc are all located behind the actual screen itself. I can slide the back cover up a little but not far enough for me to access RAM, HDD, etc.

There are no user manuals on any of the Vaio websites I have been on to for this particular model.

Model on the back on the VAIO states Model: PCV-E31M

Can anybody help me with this please??
