Under the Notification area heading, click Customize. Find the Safely Remove Hardware icon and select Always hide in the Behavior column next to it (press OK and Apply to back out). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try that &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sonylatvija.com/html/@0248C33DDCF34AA61B8F8F33F5AFA5BE/images/smilies/013.png" alt=":wink:" title=":wink:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only reson you have that is because you have a plug and play device, meaning you can unplug the modem anytime by safely removing it first.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As Snipes says it should hide it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
