I have Protector Suite 2009.2 on my VAIO (VGN-AW11Z/B) (latest Win7 version from VAIO suport website: 5.9.2.5739). This didn't work with Firefox 4.

With FF 4.0,works 5.9.5 version, build 6962 and higher.

On program websites (http://www.upek.com/support/customersupport/techsupport/Topic.asp?ID_Topic=81) I found that:

If you use OEM version of Protector Suite please ask your notebook vendor for updated software for your notebook. Each notebook vendor has a custom version of Protector Suite and as per business agreements we cannot distribute it.

Where can I ask SONY to update this program to the lates version with FF4 support?

Just installed Protector Suite 2011 (5.9.5.6966) from http://www.upek.com/support/downloads/windows7/legacy/.

Since I had a registered previous version running (2009, installed in my VAIO from factory), the new version installed without any problems and automatically got registered. Now fingerprint authentication is working fine in FF4.

Hope it works for you as well.
