A coulple of weeks ago I got it working by changing the 1394 firewire port driver from the ricoh to the windows legacy driver - everything worked ok. However I added other programmes, updates etc and i cannot get the camera to be recognised by device manager when i plug it in, there is not the normal "ding" sound when an item is plugged in. According to device manager everything is wworking ok.
