    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Carl,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sony have released a My Club VAIO patch that should resolve this problem, see &lt;A href="http://club.vaio.sony.co.uk/clubvaio/gb/en/myclubvaio/patch/" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if the patch does not stop the problem then see the solutions below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be able to stop My Club Vaio.exe from starting if you go to start &amp;gt; All Programs &amp;gt; Accessories &amp;gt; System Tools &amp;gt; Task Scheduler..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In task scheduler you should have three windows, Overview of Task Scheduler, then below this Task Status and finally at the bottom Active tasks..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In task scheduler go to the bottom section of the centre column (called active tasks)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Double click LaunchMCV and in the new window select delete...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone advie me?I have just don a System Recovery which has left me with a few problems.&lt;BR /&gt;I get a pop up after signing a box "Club Vaio" with a one line message "can only sign if I am a Vaio member" there is no other facility but to close the box I seem to remember a fix was available, will this help?
