Problem updating InterVideo WinDVD BD

I can't seem to get any updates for the AR31S InterVideo WinDVD BD to work.
They all say that they are not compatible with my one.

The problem I have is Die Hard 4.0 skips and goes out of voice sync. I have changed the disc, believing that was the problem, but the new one did exactly the same. DeJavu work perfectly, so I know it's not my player.

Can anyone help?

Hi Sgt Whiskeyjack,

What version do you have installed already? The usual cause of the message you describe is that the update has already been installed.

Open WinDVD BD and click on Audio then click on the Setup Symbol (like a sun?)- you should be able to find the installed Version.

The version I have is 8.0 DXVA B08.123

It means that you already have the latest version of WinDVD BD installed.

Anyone else have an idea on the skipping?

I don't know if this helps, but if I right click for all the options, as soon as I move my mouse up the list I get the message "an invalid arguement was encountered". and sometimes it won't re-open after I've closed it (ie, clicking on the InterVideo BD symbol in my start menu does nothing)
