VAIO WinDVD BD 8.0.8.416 update will not install

Although VAIO Web support update makes me download: InterVideo WinDVD BD 8.0.8.416 .exe, this file saved in C:\Update refuses to install in my VGN-AR41S complaining it's not the proper file.

Any other case? What should I do?

Hi Niska,

The usual reason is because the new version has been installed already.

Just check what version is already installed - you will probably find Version 8.0.8.416 is already correctly installed. This means it will not install again.

Look in WinDVD BD -> Video Centre -> Settings -> Setup -> Information

If the version installed is not 8.0.8.416 then let us know what version you have.

Are you sure that this information (8.0 DXVA B08.416) is about WinDVD BD or about VISTA version. Fro VAIO e-support tell me try to install in save mode, but no differace!
