    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;What program are you using to read this information on the laptop?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Some programs do not recognise that the modules are DDR (Double Data Rate) and report them as 256MB which is technically correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sonylatvija.com/html/@13A2E6A3774A8B47B4EC6F04089539E1/images/smilies/063.png" alt=":thinking:" title=":thinking:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi have installed 2 by 512 mb modules of ram today but the laptop is only registering it as  2 by 256mb modules .The item came from ebay &lt;A href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;amp;rd=1&amp;amp;item=270167400757&amp;amp;ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&amp;amp;ih=017" target="_blank"&gt;http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;amp;rd=1&amp;amp;item=270167400757&amp;amp;ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&amp;amp;ih=017&lt;/A&gt;. Is there any reason why this ram wont work or If I buy from crucial will this work.Dont want to waste more money If the fault lies else where .Any ideas please&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both My computer properties and belarc advisor read them as 256 modules.Have read elsewhere that other people have had the same problem and tried other makes of ram which solved the problem.Do not know what make was used&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
