unable to upgrade to android v4.0.3

I have v3.2 on my Sony Tablet S. Every time I try a system update (version 120803061) it fails.

It will download the update and start installation. Then it re-boots and at this point gives me 'error code: 5'

Advice needed! I can't find any information on what the problem is.

are you prompted to that an Android system update is available.?

If so how far along these Update installation instructions do you get.?

Have you checked you have sufficient space available to download & install the update.?

Is your Tablet connected to AC power when during the update process.?

When you recieve the error code 5 do you get any other error message.?

Hi there,

I get to point 5. update is downloaded fully, tablet on ac power.

Installation starts, reboots the device, once rebooted then I get the error code. I dont get any other message.

Just one more - Have you checked you have sufficient space available to download & install the update.?
