HT-SF200 soundbar randomly turning TV ON

Hi, I recently purchased a HT-SF200 soundbar in order to hopefully improve the sound quality from my Samsung TV. Since connecting the sound bar to the TV via HDMI cable, the TV has now started to randomly turn itself on at any time of day or night. This has never happened before the soundbar was connected.

The TV is connected to a Virgin media Tivo box via a HDMI cable and the soundbar is connected to the TV by a HDMI cable too.

Any ideas or advise as to how to solve this problem ?

This might be some kind of electrical interference or a handshake error. Have you tried disconnecting and unplugging everything for a few minutes?

Thank you, Joe-Dohn. I disconnected everything and turned everything off, waited a while then reconnected and turned the tv, virgin tivo box and soundbar back on. This seems to have done the trick, no issues so far.
