Why my normal and 2x zoom share the same lense? Something is wrong here

The camera app seems to switch from the 52 mm camera to the 26 mm main camera with 2x digital zoom in some lighting conditions.

I assume it does this when it needs to use a slow shutter speed and use the optical image stabilization, which only the main 26 mm camera has.

But it would be nice if we could force use of the 52 mm camera.

Aperture of main camera is F 1.6 where other cameras is F 2.4 that is why in dark condition and at night sony uses 2x digital zoom instead of 2x optical zoom of camera that has worse aperture This is wise choice and make sense in my opinion. Results of main camera in such situation will be better (less noise). 

In good lighting conditions you can use 2x optical zoom whenever needed.
