How to change homepage

I think that you are referring to the wallpaper?
if you are then
long press anywhere on the home > wallpapers > select the wallpaper
Sorry, tried that before I asked my question here as that does not work at all for the xperia 5. Works fine for other xperia models!
You can't.
The homepage is where it is.
You can add extra screens the more items you place on the screen, but you can't change the homepages' position.
Another launcher like Nova might serve your needs. There are lots on Google play.
