When I attach a microphone (Rode Stereo VideoMic X) with a metallic shoe to the hot shoe on my A6700, there is a buzzing or humming noise that is also recorded in the video file. Another mic with a plastic shoe does not make that noise. The issue only occurs with the A6700. I also have an A6600, and there is no buzzing noise from the mic with the metallic shoe.
It's not just direct contact that triggers this, it starts about 1 cm away from the camera.
Is there any new function in the A6700 that I should turn off to eliminate the noise?
