I made a blunder - my tripod fell over outdoors when a gust of wind went by, and I had a FeelWorld Monitor sitting on top of my Sony A7 iii, connected via the Micro-HDMI port. The Micro-HDMI Cable had snapped on impact and apart from a couple of scratches on my body/lens, everything still seems in-tact. When I replaced the cable with a new HDMI to Micro-HDMI out cable, I realised that the output is no longer working on my camera! Doesn't output to any screen/monitor (I tried a few). Has it become damaged on impact?
On Close inspection it looks fine, and inserting the cable it goes blank as it recognises something, but LCD screen comes back on the camera and live view doesn't get transferred.
Any ideas or help?
Hi there,
It may have been damaged in the fall. It might be best to contact Sony support here.
Let us know what happens.
Best wishes,
