Why am I not able to record in 24 Mbps?
I bought the Sony ILCE-5100 and the sony sdxc class 10 uhs-1 u/3 memory card
Every time i try to change the record settings to 50i 24m(fx) there is a note that says ¨cannot record to DVD disc at 24M (FX). Save on a Blu-ray disc.
What should I do? Any fast answer is appreciated, traveling to Thailand in a couple days.
THANKS!

Hi,
maybe?:
24p 24M(FX)*
* 1080 60i (NTSC) compatible device
Your camera is set in PAL?

I'm so sorry, maybe I was tired...
I've confused 24 Mbps with 24p... So... I've wrote an uncorrect answer...
That message is only an advise, in 50i 24M you can't write a DVD Disc but you have to write a Blu-ray Disc or AVCHD Disc...
- Movies recorded with the [60p 28M(PS)]/[50p 28M(PS)]/[60i 24M(FX)]/[50i 24M(FX)]/ [24p 24M(FX)] /[25p 24M(FX)] setting in [
Record Setting] are converted by PlayMemories Home in order to create an AVCHD recording disc. This conversion can take a long time. Also, you cannot create a disc in the original image quality. If you want to keep the original image quality, store your movies on a Blu-ray Disc.
