In July 2018 I bought a KD49XF9005 from Currys. I am sure that the paper receipt I got stated that the set was automatically registered with Sony for a five year warranty. Unfortunately I cannot find that paper receipt. I do have the receipt which was emailed to me setting out all the purchase details, but that does not contain the statement about the warranty being automatically registered. Is there anywhere I can see information about Currys automatically registering sets at that time. I should stress that I am not looking to make a warranty claim, but am just looking for peace of mind for the future.

Apart from Currys, the only way to check for your peace of mind is to contact Sony UK Support
