Bravia xh9005 sound sync problem with Humax hdr-1100s

My nice new TV is having sound synchronization issues when playing my Humax Freesat box. Starts off ok when playing, then after about 10 mins the sound is out of sync. Tried forcing a sync from the TV help menu, hdmi device, it works to fix for a while then goes out of sync again.

Any ideas

Same issues here. Are sony going to acknowledge a fault and that they're working towards a fix, or are we all going to have to return them?

I'm sure they are working on a fix, I have just lost confidence in them as this was my third TV from them in less than 2 months.

It's back in its box now awaiting collection by John Lewis.

Funny, this is my third. I had 2 from currys, suspected a defective batch and then bought my current from John lewis. All in vein!

Solution:

Possible fix on 10/17. So I may have accidentally found a fix. Do you guys have the tune-in radio app on the your tv? If so. Uninstall it. And reset your tv (not factory, just unplugging tv and plugging back in). This has seemed to fix the crackles for me as I have now gone a full two days without it. Let me know if this helps! Another user, Drop9Reddit, can confirm this helped fix audio issues as well.

I noticed tune-in kept disconnecting and reconnecting itself to cast on my tv. I tried casting with my Microsoft surface and this prevented me from casting on it. So I uninstalled tune-in. And since then, haven't had any audio crackles. It sounds stupid, but give it a try.

This would make sense on why Sony has no idea how to work around this issue.

I am having the same issue with a Virgin Tivo box. Starts off ok and then slippage over time which then gets worse. The sound starts to become robotic, crackly and tinny as well. Have changed to HDMI 2.1, done full factory reset, tried different devices and problem persists

I spoke with Sony this morning and they have suggested it is a software issue... have been promised  a response from engineers with a solution

This is amazing. I tried all sorts of things to fix this problem to no avail. I stumbled across this reply to delete tune in radio and thought I had nothing to lose by trying it. I have had the tv on for about 4 hours now with absolutely no problems. So all I can say is thank you so much and I would encourage others to give it a try. And to Sony- please get this glitch sorted
