KD55 Bluetooth & Headphones connection problems
When I use my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones via Bluetooth the sound regularly breaks up, no matter how close I get to the TV. I have tried re-pairing my headphones, but makes no difference

Hi @RRG-Fafnir
Sony only provide some general help. https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00175078
If possible, have you tried another make of Bluetooth headphone to rule out problems with your Bose Quiet Comfort headphones.
You may have to seek assistance by contacting Sony UK Support
Edit: Another thought, are you running the latest firmware on all devices and perhaps try a reset or factory reset.

I have already read that article and followed the advice. I don't use the headset very often, usually when the family are in bed. It occurred on previous versions of the OS as well.
The headset works fine with my iPhone. I sometimes use it when I am gardening and can be quite a long way from my phone, even around corners, without any problems. It also works OK with my Bose Soundwave system and my iMac, so I am very confident it does not have a problem in itself.

Sadly the advice I have been given is to purchase a Sony noise cancelling headset to replace my Bose. Pretty poor advice as my Bose works perfectly well with other products and I am given no guarantee that buying another expensive headset would be the answer to my problem at all. Perhaps it would be better to loan me a Sony headset in the first place to see if it cures the problem.
Poor showing from support from a problem I am sure exists in the TV not in my headset
