Today I can see a new firmware is available through TV settings.
But, I do not see this available for download and install from usb.

I'm confused, Sony seem to be saying that the issue is solved but I am still getting ui-800-3 when opening Netflix.

Have you tried
- Logging into MYBT and disabling (if needed) BTProtect and BTParental controls
- RESETTING as opposed to restarting the hub. The reset option is located at the back and involves pressing a pin against it.
I had the same issue with a BTHUB5 and resetting it fixed the problem for me
