Sony Bravia KD49X8305C Netflix Issue

Hi

I have the above tv which has never had any problems when watching Netflix however all of a sudden it only loads a program to 24% and does not load past this meaning we cannot use Netflix in the living room. Netflix works on all other TVs in our house one being a different model from Sony.

 

Can anybody shed any light on this as it's very frustrating.

Hi Amy,

 

Welcome to the Sony Community.

 

Can you try deleting the application data for Netfix by following the steps below. 

 

  • Press the HOME button on the remote.    
  • Select Settings.   
  • Select Apps in the TV category.   
  • Select System app.
  • Select Netflix.
  • Select Clear data.
  • Select OK.

After deleting the data for the Netflix application, try signing in again.

 

Let me know the outcome?

Hi,

Have tried that before but just tried again and this did not fix the issue
sadly.

Any other steps to try?

I have exactly the same issue.. I have restarted the TV, signed out and back in to Netflix and still cannot get past 25%

Very frustrating isnt it. It used to work fine but now doesnt at all on this TV. My other TVs work fine still but very annoying as this one is the main tv in the living room. Still havent found a solution
