Sound Dropout

We've been suffering sound issues on two Android TVs. The troubleshooting process involved removing the HDMI cable and using an optical to prove that it's not our TVs, it's the Sky equipment. 

The specific issue no is sound dropouts, intermittently and really annoying. This is all over the Sky forums too. 

Never had any issues with the old type boxes.

Hi there

I think in order to try an help you, we need specifics.  First thing first, can you please point me to the threads on the Sky forums, as you mentioned its all over the Sky forums therefore it might be an issue their end.

In regards to this end - Can you please post the model numbers of your TV and the equipment brand/model and then describe how its connected.

Have you tried resetting the sky box and AV Receiver?
