can the FDA-EV1MK be used with the sony pj620?

Hi there

Ive had a little look.  According to the manual for the view finder, it connects to a 'still' camera via a multi interface shoe (see pic below, circled in red).

I cannot see why it wouldnt work - but im no camera expert and dont want to commit myself in saying yes.  However, to be sure before purchasing, please contact Sony to check.
