My battery charger has stopped working

I have a Sony Camcorder - CCD-TRV64E, it has been a brilliant camera and I have literally taken it all over the world.

Regretfully the battery charger has stopped working, the model number for the is AC-V326.

I have tried searching for a replacement and there are some third party products that claim to charge the battery, but there are non that will behave as a mains charger too.

The only reference I have found is other people trying to find a similar replacement.

Does anyone know where I can get the original repaired or purchase a replacement that acts as a mains adapter too.

Sorry, not great news - that specific charger has been discontinued and there is no replacement available from Sony.  Also, it's not a repairable item.

Your best bet would be to look for a generic alternative from a third party.  You could try NEDIS, they supply spares for a load of manufacturers inclluding Sony and might help.
