HX200v processing speed

My HX200v seems to take a long time to process pics to the memory card.

I'm using an 8GB SDHC card (7 dayshop.com own make).

Although the speed of the memory card can have an effect on photo processing times, the resolution of your photos is also an important factor. Higher resolution images mean higher overall file sizes, and these will take a longer time to write to the memory card. On your camera, the highest quality settings are only really necessary if you intend to get large prints made - it may be worth experimenting and comparing the results. The appropriate setting can be found by looking on your shooting menu.
