Hi,
I have called numerous time to your customer team re my cashback and talking to different person everytime, they have my all correct details and all I receive is an email stating that, "we have processed the payment and I will receive my payment within 5 days from link network or workd pay". I have been trying to get this cashback since November 2017 and still haven't resolved this mystry cashback query. There is no complaint no or email where I can complaint about these false promises made by Sony. Hence, I am really disappointed with sony's service and I am planning to take this issue to citizen advice and will involve trading standard officer to look in to this case, as Sony has missold their product by advertising false promises and I will use my consumer right to resolve this issue.
If you have a compalint department where I can email or call then please supply here within 7 days as I have had enough of this by Sony. Please dont send me a postal address where I have to write my complaint on a paper and post it to them in this electronic era, as I have wasted lot of time in talking to yr customer service team over the phone to get the cashback and I am not willing to waste any further time in writing my complaint on a paper, print it out and post it to them.
I would look forward for your assistance and reply ASAP.
Thank you
Sincerely,
KDPatel1
Hello @KDPatel1,
I just escalated your issue to the support and hope they can finally resolve your case within the next few days.

Well, I finally received my Cashback on Tuesday, almost 11 weeks after claiming it. After several unfulfilled email and phone assurances of imminent payment from Sony Support, only a formal letter to Sony HQ at Woking threatening a County Court claim (which I would certainly have gone through with) had the desired effect.
I'm left wondering how many friends and repeat customers, as well as their recommendations to others, Sony have lost through the abysmal way this Cashback promotion has been handled? Certainly I for one would now think twice about buying another Sony camera, however advanced they are technically. A classic lesson in how not to do marketing IMO.
