IPTV issues on my Sony KD-55XE8577

Hi,

 

I purchased a KD-55XE8577 TV two months ago.

 

I have installed an app. Smart IPTV, for which I payed an one time subscription.

 

I have also paid for a tv channel provider. I have received an m3u file that I have uploaded on Smart IPTV application.

 

Everything worked fine until 17 - 18th Janaury 2018.

 

From that date I have a lot of streaming issues, connection failing, no video for some channels, just sound and so on.

 

A friend of mine, has a Samsung with Tizen OS. Everything is going fine for him. Not for my Sony though.

 

As I understood, there was a Google Casting application update on January 17th that affected the streaming, casting services.

 

Is anyone experiencing this issue? 

 

Honestly I don't want to send it to service center.

I have already raised the concern with the local support team.

 

I am waiting for their support. 

 

So I thought maybe I could get some inputs from people having similar issues.
