Dear all
I hav recently downloaded Music Centre to enable me to transfer my music on my PC to my Walkman but when I attempt to start it I get the following: "Unable to run program. Modules needed to run the database are insufficient. Please re-install Music Centre. (error code 0000332d). I have tried contacting Sony support but their response is "nothing to do with this section" and they suggest a different email address to use but *their* response is similar. I have re-installed the software but always end up at the same error. BTW - I am on W10 on a laptop. All in all, Sony customer support is about as useful as a left-handed pencil. HAs anyone any suggestions as to a fix?
Hi,
Welcome to the community.
I will look into this and update you if I can find some information. Meanwhile, maybe another member will be able to offer some ideas.

Hi gsd4me,
I think I've never faced such an error with Music Center on any device. This seems to be a compatibility issue or one of the system requirements is not fulfilled. Is your Windows version anything later than Windows 10 Home / Pro?
You can also check all the system requirements in the following link: https://bit.ly/2ukToVk.
Hope this helps,

FYI I am running W10 home version, build 16299 - everything is up to date and my laptop meets all the system requirements

Hi gsd4me,
I've checked on various forums and this issue seems to be related to the laptop and it's operating system.
The error message being developed is originated from Windows as there might be some files or modules missing, which cause such error.
Is it possible that you try on a different device?
Cheers,

Sorry - cannot attempt on another device as I don't have another device to try it with - I do not own a mobile phone and all my music is on my laptop which I want to transfer to my Walkman
Media Go - which Music Centre seems to have replaced - worked well.
Hi gsd4me,
I've tried it on my computer and it's working fine. I think the issue is not related to Music centre.
Cheers,
