Soundbar placement with these daft stands.

Hi, I'm about to buy a 65xe9305 & possibly a HT-ST5000 sound bar.

With these sloping stands, where can I put the sound bar without having cables showing?

Is my only alternative to wall mount or does anyone make a different stand that allows for placing sound bar under the TV?

Just had a thought, I could drill a 25mm (1in) hole near the front of the stand, don't think this will affect the load too much, & pass cables through, then put the sound bar up against the stand. Ant thoughts?
