bluray player bdp 790 twin hdmi out,can you have video and audio through hdmi 1 and audio only through hdmi sub,if not it means i have to have my surround sound system on every time i watch a film

No but you can have Video+Audio for both HDMI out. Your amp doesn't have a passthrough option???

hello,

i have a similiar question.  im using one of my hdmi outputs to my amp (arcam aut of v400 / 3d compatible) which is connected to my tv works fine, the other hdmi port on the above dvd player is connect to my projector beacuse my amp only has 1 output port.

i can get video to the projector but audio doesn't go to the amp ??

Problem solved into system setting and change 1 of the hdmi out puts to av only.

Any info out there on how to play the surround sounds plus stereo from a hybrid sacd through any of cinema set up, hifi rig or headphones, and what equipment and connection are needed, Roger
