soundbar s20r has no enough bass

My soundbar don't have bass from tv like it has from phone bluetooth especially when using an equalizer on phone and that's very sad knowing that soundbar can output very good bass,maybe on next update sony will resolve this ? How can I increase the bass from optical or hdmi ?

This is most likely due to the content not having bass and not the type of connection. Most TV programmes are 2.0ch with no subwoofer channels while music is usually 2.1. You can test this out by playing music from your TV.
