camera photos blurry

HI

I bought  this M2 last week. The first day the camera was good.  After tha all the images which I take with M2 are just  blurred. I have tried all the settings but the picture quality does not improve. I also have samsung, which is a 3+ year old phone and has 3.2 MP camera which is far better tha this m2 camera, and if I compare images, pictures taken with M2 (8mpix) are just far worse.

Is there any solution to this.

Are you certain that

the lens its not dirty, scratched and/or partially obstructed with a protective case or film?

Have you try the basic

settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart your phone

or

re-install the latest update

Bridge (for Mac)

I have the same problem, i've had my m2 for 6 months the camera has been great until this week. Now all the pictures i take are blurred. I've cleaned the lens cover with alcohol. I've tried various apps. I've been to the apps, camera and cleared cashe and re-started. When i open the camera and look at the screen its very 'grainy' i can move it around and i can see the auto adjust working but it doesn't get a clear focus.

What do you mean with "When i open the camera and look at the screen its very 'grainy'"?

Have you opened the back cover? Do you see the lens grainy from inside view?

No I haven't taken the back cover off, what i mean is when I turn the camera on and look at the screen the before i take a picture it's very grainy/it has large pixles. Like its not correctly focused, and soft and blurred. This is a recent problem, my camera used to be great, it hasn't been dropped or misused.

My brand new x2 has the same problem. I believe there is a bug in the screen immediately after the taking of a photo and subsequently in the Gallery. If however you press the edit (pencil) button while in Gallery the picture sharpens up to the clarity it should be, though you can't manipulate its size. It is also the case that if you send the taken image to someone else (or to yourself) it is sharp when received. So there's an embarrassing bug in this specific area which is greatly disappointing for those using the phone for photos. It needs fixing, Sony.
