Did you checked the above suggestions? have you tested a different SIM card?
My XperiaM4 Aqua is unresponsive, attempts to turn it on result in a white screen with the Sony text logo. from that point on it does nothing. I attempted to remove the SIM card and MicroSD card , have re-inserted the SIM card with the same negative results. Is there a Do It Yourself fix ?
To complicate matters, the problem seems to be the result of my attempt to re-install the system as the Xperia Companion was not recognizing the phone. A system program download also failed, when I tried to use it to repair the phone's system which brought on the white screen problem. Ferom that point on, I am stymied and unable to get the adroid system up and running . Please advise?
On the Xperia M2 the SIM card doesn’t slide out like an SD card tray.
First, power off your phone.
On the left-hand side, you’ll see a small flap/cover. Open it.
Under the cover you’ll find slots for both the micro SIM and microSD card.
To insert: gently push your SIM card into the SIM slot until it clicks into place.
To remove: carefully push it in a little with your fingernail or a small tool; it should release and slide out.
It’s not a removable “SIM jacket/tray” like on newer phones—it’s more like a direct slot under the flap.
