Hi everybody, I hope you can help me out.
I bought my Xperia M5 less than a month ago and the other day I discovered several dark red stains (one dot, especially) on the screen. It's NOT dead or stuck pixels. It's a whole big area (size of a thumb fingerprint, let's say). It's like a nebula, best visible when the bright is very low, or when the screen shows anything dark or black. Unfortunately I cannot take a picture and the stain is not visible in screen captures, so I gues it's the screen hardware itself. What can I do? I've seen in a couple of forums out there people fixing that problem with a magnet or something, but I don't wanna mess up the phone by doing that! I don't know what to do; the phone is NEW and I need it with me every single hour for many reasons both personal and professional. I can't wait for technical service to repair it, and I don't even know if those stains are covered by the warranty. Do you think I have any chances I can just have it replaced for another new terminal? I'm in Spain. Thank you.
Hi @bizilagun,
Welcome to the community.
It does sound like a hardware problem. You should contact your local support team.
Do you have information as to how that case was ending? ... I have similar stains
