Screen flickers

The screen flickers (and strongest in the lower edge region).

Anybody know something about this problem and what could be done?

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu 
3. press and hold "power off" 
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

thanks, but on safe mode the same problem (the screen flickers continue)

no problem was found with Sony PC Companion.

It seems to be an hardware problem 😞

My M4 Aqua Dual E2363 has constant screen flickering. So bad it could trigger seizures lol. Is it a software or hardware issue? I've posted on XDA and here is my full explanation.

It'll only flicker when it begins to display images such as when I'm in Chrome or changing my wallpaper. When navigating through the phone the flickering is triggered when displaying images, photos, etc but not text.

Okay so remember it's not the screen that's flickering randomly it's actually being "triggered" when the images are displayed.
