Screen glass broken and SONY SERVICE

Hello I am disappointed with my M4 and M5 SONY AQUA the problem is that the glass and all the telephone is to fragile. Both telephones screen glass got broken-down. this just having them in my pants front pocket and I wonder how many of you have the same problem?

The worst is that normally the guaranty don't cover the broken screen glass and i contacted the shop in Norway Leftdal (Ski  senter, ski town) who told me they have to send the telephone to the SONY workshop so they can check it but if they find there is no guaranty and if i want to get my phone back it cost me 430 Nkr = 51,87 Amerikanske dollar.

And they sustain that is the practice of all mobile phones companies. So I got shock first I get a bad quality Item so bad service This is the price we customs pay for Companies can grow global and competitive?

The fact is they can't grow so big and keep a quality standard with out it affect us customs. Those are the last Mobile phones I buy from SONY and I recommend you keep away from those phones they are to weak until the make more solid telephones what is your experience?

I'm sorry to hear about your issue but this is a user based global forum, keeping the phone in your front pocket it's at risk of getting hit or bent.

This type of question is best handled by your Local support team as service and warranty procedures vary between markets and regions. In general however, the warranty only covers fabrical errors. All damage caused by external factors or wear & tear will result in there being a cost for the repair. 

My recommendation is that you have your devices sent for examination at one of our authorized service centres. In order to get information on how to proceed with doing so I'd recommend you give a call to your local support team.

But it is supposed that the sony M5 has gorillaz glass, which needs extreme situations to be broken. Part of my decision to buy this phone was based on that. I had the same problem with a fall that my previous phone resisted many times, and it had an ordinay glass. If you cannot ensure the features you describe, and even worst not being responsable of that, you'll be disgraced soon

glass is glass, it WILL break, you just have to stress it at a particular way.
