Sony xperia m2 cant open but still charging

Hello, it is the first time i am having a dfficulties using sony xperia m2 . I am using it since 2017 not until i got it repaired because my nephew pushed the charger port inside and it wouldnt charge so I got it repaired, it charged at the repair shop but when i got home it just would not and i have tried all of the charger in our compound but stilk doesnt til it's battery got drained but after two days, my cousin's charger worked so i am glad since the red led shows but the screen is still black, so I leave it for hours hoping that the screen will turn on but still doesnt. I have tried the power up but only vibrates and won't open still. I cant buy new phone yet since im still a student and still have more projects to pay and buy, i hope you can help me with this, thank you.

Hi @gingernougat, sorry to hear about this.

The support for the Xperia M2 is a bit limited since the device has reached it's end of support, but if you take a look at the link below, you can find some additional information to where the OFF button is placed and you can use that one to force a shut down, or a 2 minute restart.

If that doesn't help, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion, but keep in mind that the repair will delete all data stored on the internal storage and you can't use the same program to backup the data if the device can't be powered on.
