How do I loctate my Experia U with a flat battery?

Hi All,

I have just recently given my wife's old Experia U to my 9 year Old Daughter who has mis-placed it (probably in the house but we aren't sure) but  as the battery had gone flat before it was lost, we can't find an 'APP' to help locate it ... we have tried using 'Plan B' & 'Phone Finder' but there seems to be an issue with the fact that we put a brand new SIM Card into it before giving it to her, even though it might still have Her  old 'Google Play Account' active on it, we still can't get anyyhing to help us locate it.

Can anyone help me out with this as we really need to locate this phone for her ASAP. Due to important phone numbers being needed off it.

We have searched the house but as everything has been moved about for and packed away after Christmas, it's proving to be extremely hard to find.

Any help will be very much appreciated in this matter.

Sorry to hear that but nothing will work, the phone has to be 

1. on
2. data or wifi has to be on
