BBC-HD on iPlayer

I have used the BBC iPlayer a number of times recently, including the BBC-HD channel, and I cannot discern any difference between the SD and HD content. Am I missing something or do I need to change any settings?

HD is a variable figure and even the BBC have different bitrates for HD shows, so some HD content might not look as good as others.

Checkout some nature programmes and compare them to the SD version and you should see a difference...
