Can I copy from my Sony Bravia - KDL-40Z5800 to a laptop

I have recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL-40Z5800 and connected it up to my Sky+ box and a freesat.

I have something saved on on my Sky+ box that I would like to copy to my PC.  I am happy to play this and watch it on the TV.  Is there a way that my laptop can pick up the image being played and save it?
