I have a HDR-CX190E Handycam, and I am trying to control the playback from my KDL-40CX523. I can do this for my Blu Ray player and my Sony PVR but I cannot connect to the camera. I have checked that I have HDMI control enabled in the camera menu, but the TV does not find it when I try and add it. The camera and the TV software versions are current.
The camera plays back fine but just can't control it.
