I have recently upgraded my Virgin box from a V+HD box to the new Tivo. Every time I switch the box and TV on I get a pop up box saying 'HDMI connection is not available, press OK to clear' I can hear sound but cannot see a picture.
I then swith the Tivo box onto standby, wait for the green light to turn red, then turn it back on and everything is fine. But this happens every time when I first switch the TV on.
I am on my second Tivo box and second HDMI cable but it seems to be pointing at the TV being the cause.
I have a KDL-32S4000 and the Tivo box is a samsung. Has anyone seen this before or know of a fix...

how very odd, i have a TiVo as well and it works just fine, what HDMI port are you connected to?, not sure that this is even relevant but humour me, mines in HDMI 1 i can turn the tv on and the TiVo box with the TiVo remote.
