I,along with many people have been suffering from the TVs inbuilt apps continuously buffering for a while now,upon contacting Sony I was advised that a new update released on 24/1/18 (8.533?) should address these and other issues.
I have checked my TV and it is set to automatically update yet my TVs software is still the old one (8.500),when I press on system update I get the no newer version message.I understand that I can update via a usb but frankly apart from not owning a usb let alone having a clue how to go about doing so if I did I am left feeling a little lost.I am confused as to why if I've got the set to automatically download any updates it's not doing so or does it take a while for these updates to go live.
